Hey Barack, Joe and Janet, DUHHHH!!!!!!

First we have the dumbest man in the senate in Joe Biden with his gaffe after gaffe after gaffe and the media just laughs at him and covers for him naturally. The latest being his speech before CEO's of the auto industry when they said that sales this year were less bad than last year and his reply was "Less bad is not good. Less bad is not good. Less bad is better than more bad, but it still ain't good." WHAAATTTT???? To hear him say it is funnier than reading it.

Next we have the Ft. Hood massacre where this muslim officer killed a dozen soldiers and wounded others before being struck down and Obama says we have to be careful not to jump to conclusions. Not jump to conclusions??? This guy gave a speech before agroup of military psychiatrists and fellow officers where he said, "Infidels' heads should be chopped off and their mouths filled with boiling oil." He spoke out against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and counseled soldiers against going to them. He was a muslim and hated America and massacred our soldiers and we're not supposed to jump to conclusion? Instead of admonishing him or transferring him, the PC crowd said "Oh this is interesting. We can learn from what he's saying. " Well because of that kind of lib thinking twelve soldiers are now dead and we're not supposed to jump to conclusions. Hey Barack baby DUHHHHH!!!!

Next we have this Nigerian guy whose father is a high ranking official in Nigeria and warns the U..S. embassy there about his son may be planning an attack. He's on the terror watch list along with 500,000 others, gets on a plane with no passport, no baggage, a one way ticket he paid for in cash with explosives sewed into his underwear ,sets off a bomb on the plane and nobody saw the signs? If it wasn't for the fact that the bomb failed and the quick actions of that Swedish film maker who jumped over several seats and doused the flames with his hands and held the guy in a choke hold until the police arrived, everyone on that plane might have been killed. Then Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano said the system worked. WHAAATTTT???? The system didn't work. She later said she was taken out of context. What context? It was plain and simple. She said she meant to say the system worked with all the increased security after the incident. Hey Janet DUHHHH!!!! This is the same woman who said it is not a war on terror but man made disasters. What an idiot!!! Obama referred to the jihadist as a suspect. I guess when you have flames coming out of your thighs you are just a suspect. Again Obama is protecting his own just like in Ft.Hood. Now he's saying a lot of red flags were missed. Hey Barack do ya' think???? DUHHHHH

The Radio City Christmas Show

This past Dec.14th my wife and I attended the Christmas Show at Radio City in New York City. It was a packaged deal we signed up for earlier with dinner at our favorite restaurant and the show. A bus took us and brought us back. After a scrumptious meal as always,we got on the bus and a representative from the restaurant told us to not go to the tree at Rockefeller Center because the bus would leave right after the show. We almost missed the bus, but more on that later.

This is our third time seeing the show. Each time they keep some routines and always add new ones which we noticed this year. The show opens with a special 3-D cartoon of Santa leaving the North Pole. You are in his sleigh with him and the reindeer's tails and rear ends face you as they bob up and down as you fly away in the sleigh. A polar bear throws a snowball at the sleigh and you hear a loud THUD as Santa lets out with a hearty HO HO HO. The sleigh passes some geese flying and one looks straight at you, his bill just inches from your nose. Santa flies around the statue of liberty throwing lights and tinsel around her and flies under the Brooklyn Bridge and up around it above the Empire State Building throwing wreaths and brightly wrapped packages out at you. He lands in front of Radio City and comes out on stage dancing with the Rockettes and welcomes everyone to the show.

One of my favorite routines is the March of the Wooden Soldiers. The Rockettes come out dressed as the wooden soldiers doing precision dancing and formations to the famous Wooden Soldier March. They even do the famous X shaped formation. At the end of the routine they all line up in back of one another. A cannon comes out and shoots a flag that says BOOM on it in big red letters as they all lock arms and fall ever so slowly down on top of one another, the last one landing on a soft mattress placed there for him.
A new routine features the Rockettes on a tour bus. It's double decker red bus and the rockettes are dressed in white. The Bus is in front of a huge screen with a picture of Radio City. The picture moves and the bus turns and twirls with the wheels moving giving the impression they are riding down the streets of New York. It's very realistic and you can feel the movement as if you were actually riding down the street with them. Fireworks and streamers shoot out high above you and softly come down on top of you. It was totally unexpected and fun though the young woman in front of me appeared slightly annoyed as she unraveled the streamers from her. :D

Another clever dance routine is the dancing Santas. About two rows of real Rockettes dressed as Santa appear and on the screen many more appear all in formation and perfectly choreographed to give the impression there are hundreds of them. Very intricate and clever as well as entertaining.

The close of the show features the famous living nativity scene featuring the birth of Christ and all the shepherds, three wise men, angels and Mary and Joseph and the manger on a high rock pedestal. It's very chilling and inspirational and all the animals are real from sheep to camels and donkeys. The costumes are brightly colored and the light shining behind Mary and Joseph is totally breath taking.

The show started at 8 p.m. and was over at 9:30 p.m. After visiting the restrooms we walked back to the bus only to find him moving. My wife thought he was moving because the cop told him to move since there were other busses there blocking traffic. I wasn't so sure and ran waving my arms and yelling. Some people on the bus saw me and told the driver to stop. We got on and it was only about 9:45. One man on the bus said they should take a count and he did. There were 42 passengers and only 36 on the bus and three of the missing passengers were nuns. The guy said he would go out and find them. He did find them and they were elderly nuns too. The other three were all senior citizens too. New York City blocks are long too. We wondered how the other people got on the bus so soon after the show was over. After everyone was accounted for we all had a safe trip home. If you never saw the show I would highly recommend it. It's world famous and they have it every year through Jan.1st.

• Page 16: States that if you have insurance at the time of the bill becoming law and change, you will be required to take a similar plan. If that is not available, you will be required to take the gov option!

So I'll just say continue to call, e-mail, contact your Reps, and Senators constantly and tell them to vote against this bill. What if I don’t want a National Health ID card? And this is why Obama, Pelosi, Waxman, et al wanted to rush Obamacare through congress before anybody had a chance to read it. Contact your congressman and your two senators today!

Arlo Guthrie in Concert 11/29/09

Back in 1968, a young folk singer named Arlo Guthrie ( son of famed folksinger Woody Guthrie of "This Land is Your Land, this Land is My Land " fame) burst upon the scene with his now famous song/narrative Alice's Restaurant. The song tells of Arlo and his friend's exploits on Thanksgiving Day of visiting their friend Alice and her husband Ray who lived in the bell tower of a renovated church in Stockbridge, Massachusettes. Alice and her husband had accumulated a half a ton of garbage where the church pews used to be so Arlo and his friend thought it would be a friendly gesture to empty it for them. They ended up throwing it over a cliff where a smaller pile of garbage was and were immediatley arrested. The song goes on to tell about Arlo's hilarious dealings with the draft board. The song became a huge hit and Arlo toured with it and even appeared at the famed Wooodstock Music festival in 1969 of which I was there. The song itself is 18 minutes and 30 seconds long. The same length as the famous gap in Presient Nixon's Watergate tapes that time of which Arlo now jokes about when he performs it.

Fast forward to 1992, 24 years later when I first started dating my now wife and faithful traveling companion, Judy. She said to me "Hon would you like to see Arlo Guthie in concert with my sister and me?" To which I replied,"Arlo Guthrie? Is he still around?" Well not only was he still around, but much to my delight it has become a tradition in our family to see him every Thanksgiving when he appears in our area alternating between Carnegie Hall in New York or New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. This year was no exception and we saw him in Newark.
Arlo is now 62 years old and has acquired quite a family who appear with him. His son Abe plays keyboards for him and has his own band which he performs and tours with. He has a daughter Sarah Lee Guthrie who is now 30 years old and is married to a singer Johnny Iron and they appear on their own as well as with Arlo. They have two children, Olivia and Sophia. Abe also tours with Tao Rodriguez who is Pete Seeger's grandson. I've seen them all in concert together over the years. Arlo has seven grandkids and has grown to look quite dashing with his constant childlike smile and long full pure white shoulder lengh hair. Quite a different look from the goofy kid on the cover of Alice's Restaurant.

Sunday's concert was nothing short of entertaining. A little more subdued than previous Arlo concerts, but very entertaining as usual. I went in a little apprehensive because it was billed as the Arlo Guthrie Family Rides Again tour featurng four generations of Guthries and I was hoping to see more of him and his regular band featuring his son Abe on keyboards, but I must say this family is a multitude of talent and I was pleasantly surprised. The show opened with Arlo' s oldest daughter Sarah Lee and her husband Johnny Iron doing a pleasant toe tapping song called "When the Lilacs are in bloom" based on an area in Western Massachusettes where they live. Sarah has a beautiful,melodic voice and both she and Johnny tour separately and both play mean acoustic guitars. I met Sarah during the intermission and told her how much she is like her father with telling stories and playing guitar. She replied smiling and sweetly "I'm a little too much like him I think." :D

During the songs more and more Guthries slowly appeared on the stage. Arlo has three daughters and his son Abe and they all have kids all singing in the family. The grandchildren range from ages 2 to 18 years . Next came Sarah's sister Kathy who did a humorous song titled "Shit makes the flowers grow." The words go "I wonder where you came from./ Well now I know/ Shit makes the flowers grow." This got a huge laugh from the audience and the tune was very catchy.

Arlo's sister and his aunt have been spending the last few years cataloguing his father's (Woody Guthrie) songs of which there are close to 3000. This concert was dedicated to interpreting and performing some of the more familiar ones and some not so familiar ones. Woody also wrote some children's songs. Sarah Lee did a children's song she wrote called "Take me to show and Tell" where you had to make up verses all rhyming with the letter 'L'. When they got to Arlo he sang, "Don't take me to show and tell/I won't do that well/I'll feel like I'm in hell." :D

No concert would be complete without Arlo doing his famous "Coming into Los Angeles" which he sang at Woodstock. Arlo recountered how with the last 40th anniversary he was beseiged by reporters asking him about Woodstock. He replied," I told them I made it there. That's all I remember." :D.

At the end Arlo did his dad's famous "This Land is Your land."Arlo recalled how when his mother went to China with a group of Americans she saw some school children singing "This land is Your land" and said 'Stop the song. My husband wrote that song." Arlo replied to her,"but Ma, from California to the New York skyline?" Why would Chinese children be singing that?" She said "Oh Arlo" and turned and walked away. It wasn't until years later that it hit him he said. You don't have to take that short cut, you can go the other way around and that way the whole world can sing "This land is Your land." :D

Those Damn Commercials

I'm old enough to remember the early days of television. I was very young and very small, but you could watch a whole TV show with a short commercial every half hour on the hour and half past. When the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade came on you could watch virtually the whole parade with very little commercials. I always liked the giant balloons and hearing the descriptions of their height, weight and how many tons of helium were in them.

As the years passed and shows like Leave It To Beaver, I love Lucy, Superman and others emerged, the shows got shorter with commericals every fifteen minutes on the hour, a quarter past and half past. You could set your watch to them. The Macy's parade was still entertaining to watch and they had my favorite balloons with a few more commericals every 20 minutes.

As the years progressed so did the commercials. Many were loud and annoying and increasing in the shows. Enter cable TV. People started signing up for cable TV to get away from commercials and to watch full length movies on channels like HBO. The Macy's Parade was still good, but more commercials and dialogue were slowly sneaking in more and more every year. Gradually more and more cable channels were added and with them the commercials followed en masse'.

People went to the movies to get away from commercials, but the commercials followed. Movie distributors and theater owners said they had to show commercials to counter act the high cost of making movies otherwise they would have to charge more.

Next came the internet. Commercial free and a pure joy to see something without commercials,but slowly the commercials followed .You can't log on to a homepage without some annoying pop up flashing across the article you are reading and you have to click on the X to get rid of it. If you want to watch highlites from a TV show,you can't watch it without having a commercial come on first. As for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade,it is now one big commercial. I've personally timed it. You have a three hour parade with ten minutes of commercials every ten minutes of parade. Much of the parade is taken up by Al Roker, katie Couric and Matt Lauer chatting away or interviewing some actor from a current broadway show or singer as marching bands pass by in the background. They suddenly announce that a giant Spiderman balloon is coming. Oh Boy!!!. :) But then a commercial break with ten minutes of commercials.When they come back,Spiderman has been long gone :( and they are talking to more celebrities and each other as floats and marching bands pass by in the background.

YUP THOSE DAMN COMMERCIALS!!!!!!!

Setting the Record Straight on Iraq and Afghanistan and other Thoughts

Recently I've been hearing the anti-war lib crowd once again blame Bush for Iraq and Afghanistan thus causing their guy Obama inherited problems. I want to set the record straight and hope that some future scholar will realize what really happened and record it for posterity's sake. First of all ,during Bill Clinton's administration, members of the Iraq Liberation Front came to Clinton and asked for help in liberating their country. The intelligence then said Saddam was pursuing WMD's. Spain said he had them, Saudi Arabia said he had them, France said he had them, Germany said he had them so Clinton sent the inspectors in. We all can remember seeing over and over again on the news those same caravans of inspectors going thru Iraq. Later Clinton ordered an air war against Iraq. He later said "Maybe the air strikes got all the WMD's maybe they only got half of them, we'll never know because Saddam kicked the inspectors out."

Enter the Bush Administration and 9/11. Bush signed the Iraq Liberation Act which stated: 1) Liberate the Iraqi people 2) Overthrow Saddam Hussein 3) Search for Weapons of mass destruction 4)Make Iraq and the middle east safe for democracy.
Bush did all that,but we never found the WMD's, however we did find 50 tons of yellow cake uranium which we shipped back here which I consider a WMD and we found glider drones for dropping gas over hordes of population. But to the left, that didn't matter all they could see was Bush lied because we didn't find WMD's and the media went along for the ride. Never mind that the rape rooms have stopped, the mass graves have stopped, women can work there now and are serving in the government, children are learning about other things in their history other than jihad and how great Saddam was. We've also built roads,schools and hospitals there and brough them out of the 15th century and to the present. So the annointed one comes along and says" what's good for one country may not be good for another." Mamam Mia.

Obama's stimulus package is proving to be quite the embarassment . They are trying to say all the jobs that have been created or saved when there is no real accounting for them. They also reported all these munincipalities that received stimulus funds and now we find that those districts don't even exist.
Newsmax had an interesting article that reported on this :The report is only the latest revelation that the administration's much-ballyhooed stimulus effort has been mired in waste, poor reporting and mismanagement.
The Government Accountability Office found that almost 4,000 designated recipients who have not yet received stimulus funding reported creating or saving more than 58,000 jobs, according to The Washington Post. Another 9,200 recipients reported no job creation, despite receiving a total of $965 million. The findings demonstrate the difficulty of counting jobs the stimulus might have created.
The administration also has failed to review about 25 percent of the quarterly reports stimulus recipients have submitted, the GAO audit also says.
Some recipients have misstated job numbers, according to the audit. Others may have retained workers or hired new ones intentionally, knowing that they will receive stimulus funding in the near future. Some that already spent money are reporting zero jobs created or saved because they are applying a narrow definition for what counts as a "saved" job or because they may not be taking into account the jobs created by a subcontractor receiving funds from the recipient, the Post reported.

Englebert Humperdink in concert

Last night I had the opportunity of seeing Englebert Humperdink in concert here in Jersey. Yes that Englebert. At 73 he is till alive and kicking though I thought he was more of a parody of his former self. Don't get me wrong. He is still a great entertainer and can put over a song ,but he did poke fun of himself a lot and still woos the ladies with wiping his chest and brow with red handkerchiefs and throwing them in the audience to his screaming fans. He's got siver hair now and is a little paunchier though he said he lost some weight. He mentioned that his hair was a different color now,"I'm trying to get back to my roots," he quipped.

Backed by a nine piece band of younger musicians including two keyboardists, a sax player, a trumpet player, drummer and bass and lead guitar and two female back up singers,he did all his hits and then some. Starting with a powerful rendition of the Righteous Brothers hit "Unchained Melody" and ending with Frank Sinatra's "MyWay" Englebert got the audience singing and waving their arms along on old favorites like "Lonely is a Man Without Love." and "The Last Waltz will Last Forever." When introducing his band he said that his drummer wa s with him since he was 19 years old ,"He's now 107" he jokingly quipped at an age joke again. Actually he looked about late thirties or 40.

At one point he asked for a volunteer lady from the audience. One woman was picked and Englebert sat her down on a chair and made her hold the lyrics to "After the Lovin'" so he could remember them he said. Actually it was a ruse and at the end of the song he gave her a big bear hug and rapped one of his handkerchiefs around her. He asked if she was married and she replied "yes". He then asked if her husband was in the audience and she said "No" to which he replied "THANK GOD!!!"

Englebert also did a country western song from his new C&W album he has coming out, undoing his tie, unbuttoning his shirt and donning a leather vest and cowboy hat for it. Overall it was an entertaining concert, but I thought his voice could have been miked up a little bit more because the band sometimes drowned him out. He said he's been performing for 43 years now. I remember when he first came out and now 43 years later I get to see him. :D

The Fort Hood Massacre

The massacre of 13 brave men and women soldiers at Fort Hood was no accident by a deranged killer. This was a deliberate and plannned atrocity. Radical Islamists have stated they plan to infiltrate our army and navel bases and kill our soldiers. There were plenty of red flags that went up before hand too. Maj.Malik Nidal Hasan was seen passing out copies of the Koran, he espoused anti-American rhetoric and stated he was against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and feared going over there. He even gave a speech to fellow officers and psychiatrists reading from the Koran citing where it says how the infidels heads must be cut off,their bodies burned and throats filled with burning oil. The PC crowd is quick to defend him saying he was harassed and picked on because he was a muslim. Too bad. Remember the muslim soldiers who infiltrated Ft.Dix and planned to blow up barracks there? This is no different. This is terrorism from within. Naturally the annointed one Barack Obama made a statement that I thought was half hearted at best and only did so because it was politically expedient to do so. I wonder what was really going through his mind at the time. He didn't even bother to visit the base and offer his condolences, yet former President Bush and his wife did so which shows you again the stark contrast between the two.

Hood, President Obama never mentioned the T word. The attack was an act "of violence." No mention of terrorism.In fact, the Ft. Hood shooting is the first terror attack on American soil since 9-11. But Obama, reluctant to take the rap for inadequate protections against such attacks, is doing everything he can to make it look like an adult version of the Columbine school shootings. We are treated to stories about the killer's dread of being sent back to Afghanistan and his deformed personality. But, the fact is that Major Nidal Malik Hasan jumped on a table, yelled "Alah Hu Akhbar" and began the shooting rampage that killed 13 people and wounded 30 more.Ilana Freedman, CEO and Senior Analyst for the Gerard Group International, which provides intelligence analysis for business and homeland security, describes Hasan as a "lone wolf terrorist" who acts without apparent coordination with any other person or organization. But that does not make him any less of a terrorist. The dividing line, of course, between a terrorist and a psychopathic killer is political motivation. His statements right before opening fire would indicate that Hasan was motivated by fanaticism and a commitment to Islamic fascism, even though President Obama bends over backwards to avoid saying so.

Recently when Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, was visitng Obama she invited him to the 20th anniversary celebration of the fall of Berlin wall. He politely declined. How outrageous!! Clinton would have gone, Carter would have gone, even Bush would have gone, but this guy no. A listener to Rush Limbaugh sent him an e-mail that read: "Rush don't you know communists never celebrate their defeats. If the Berlin Wall was rebuilt, Obama would have gone and perhaps autographed it" :D I agree.

Victory Now =Victory 2010 Hopefully and Other Thoughts

Now that the republicans are all ecstatic that N.J. and Va. governors won, it's time for us to hold their feet to the fire and make sure they lower taxes, fight corruption and have fiscal responsability. That is hard to do because most politicians once they get in office don't keep their promises and yield too much to the temptation of power, greed and corruption. Take Obama for instance. He promised no lobbyists and he then goes and hires lobbyists, he promised no earmarks and we get 9000 earmarks, he promised a stimulus package would keep unemploymnet down to 8% and it's now at 10% and climbing with the stimulus and so on. As the bumper sticker says,"Don't tell Obama what comes after a trillion." :D

Speaking of Obama, I understand he didn't watch the election returns and according to Robert Gibbs he was watching the HBO special on himself at the time. That shows it's always all about him.This guy is so immature and with an ego the size of Mt.Everest. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, was meeting with Obama this week and invited him to the upcoming ceremonies of the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Obama declined saying he was too busy. That's an insult in my book. Kennedy would have gone, Carter would have gone and so would Clinton. An e-mailer to Rush Limbaugh said it all saying,"communists don't celebrate their failures. If the Berlin Wall were rebuilt, Obama would probably go and autograph it." :D

Hillary Clinton meanwhile is trapsing all over the Mideast screwing things up. She told Harmid Kharzide in Afghanistan that his country's taxes are too low. "In the United States we tax everything that moves and even things that don't," she said. Obama was against Isreal building any more settlements then Hillary came along and praised their settlements and urged the Palestinians to accept them and get back to talking which I agree, but which idea is it ? Barack's or Hillary's? As Michael Goodwin said in his column today in the NY Post, "The arabs were understandably confused and furious. Had she just changed America's position and did Obama approve? She clarified her remarks denying there was any change, sort of, and in Morocco told an Arab audience that Isreal wasn't doing enough. This week she goes to Egypt. Buckle up Sphinx."

Pelosi, Reid and Obama: Witch Doctors with the Voodoo Healthcare Plan

Pelosi, Reid and Obama are getting closer to the control of every American's lives with this massive healthcare bill. It's not about healthcare for those that can't afford it. They should be so magnaminous. No, it's about the complete government take over of our lives. It's a huge power grab continued from the Bill and Hillary Clinton years. It didn't work then and it must not pass now. When the Soviet Union fell under Reagan I said to myself, "Watch it fall there and rise here." I didn't know how then, but now I can see it happening here. They even have the death panels back in after saying they would take them out. It will be based on your age and cost whether you need a certain procedure. A bureaucrat will decide for you not your doctor. Senior citizens will be affected the most. It's short of assisted suicide.

To all you dems and libs out there who will also be affected, How's all that hope and change working out for you? Wait until you need a knee replacement or heart bypass. Enjoy the long wait when doctors are rationed and they will be rationed. Also knee replacements, heart valves, bone replacements,wheel chairs and other health needs will all be taxed. War on Fox News Reveals Obama’s Failings

If there is anything more bizarre than the decision to award President Obama the Nobel Peace Prize, it was his administration’s decision to wage war on Fox News.
The Obama administration has been warning cable networks not to follow up on Fox News stories, which have included an exposé of ACORN and the radical backgrounds of some Obama appointees, and even attempted to exclude Fox from network pool coverage.
In doing so, Obama and his aides revealed in one stroke the most telling weaknesses of his administration:
Obama is a whiner. At almost every chance he gets, the president whines about the previous administration and how it is responsible for every problem he faces. He neglects to point out that in the examples he cites — as with deficit spending — he has made the problems worse.
Obama is fixated on spin rather than substance. Why else would he and his aides become so agitated about what a network is reporting? Obama’s decision to outsource drafting of healthcare legislation to Congress shows his lack of interest in performing the basic functions of his job.
Obama is ineffective. The spectacle of refusing to let Fox participate in a pool filming, then backing down when the other networks objected, shows that Obama is over his head. That same ineffectiveness prompted him to announce the closing of the prison camp at Guantánamo Bay without having any idea where he would send its prisoners.
Obama has no appreciation for the profit motive and its importance in America’s success. In warning networks not to follow Fox, Obama adviser David Axelrod said, “Mr. [Rupert] Murdoch has a talent for making money, and I understand that their programming is geared toward making money.” Never mind that Obama is making millions in profits from book royalties.
Obama appears blind to the fact that there is a reason Fox, which was started 13 years ago, now has more than three times more viewers between the prized ages of 25 and 54 than either CNN or MSNBC: Fox provides news and commentary that the other networks ignore.
If Obama and his aides actually watched Fox, they would see that its news coverage — as opposed to its commentary programs — really is fair and balanced. When controversial issues are discussed during news programming, guests from opposing sides are invited on.
If Obama understood the importance of the profit motive, he would have reduced taxes to help small businesses so they could expand and hire more workers, instead of throwing money at government programs as part of the stimulus package. By pushing a public option and failing to include incentives to reduce healthcare costs, Obama demonstrates that same lack of appreciation for the profit motive and the entrepreneurial spirit that has made America great.
Obama is weak. The press ganged up on the Bush administration, but Bush never tried to isolate a news outlet. By showing how thin-skinned he is, Obama reveals his fragility. That is symbolized by his constant need to apologize to the world for imagined failings and by his hand-wringing, while finding time to play golf, about making a decision on his own commander’s request last August for more troops to fight the war in Afghanistan.
Despite his claims during the campaign that he would bring people together, Obama is the most partisan president in recent memory. As one example, Obama and the Democrats have entirely shut out the Republican leadership from participation in drafting healthcare legislation that will affect one-sixth of the economy.
The White House crusade for fairness works in one direction: against Republicans. Asked by Campbell Brown on CNN if Fox News is biased, Obama aide Valerie Jarrett said Tuesday evening, “Well, of course they’re biased. Of course they are.” But when Brown asked if MSNBC, whose Keith Olbermann recently accused Fox of being filled with racists, is biased, Jarrett did not answer the question.
Obama and his aides have a blatant disregard for the truth. They openly demonstrated that by saying that Fox is not a news organization, when anyone who has watched the network knows that it is. Criticizing Fox, Obama told NBC that if “media is operating, basically, as a talk radio format, then that’s one thing. And if it’s operating as a news outlet, that’s another.”
In the same breath, despite his aides’ orchestrated attempts to isolate Fox, Obama pretended he is really unconcerned about Fox, saying he is not “losing sleep” over the issue.
Rather than being of no consequence, Obama’s outlandish attempt to muzzle Fox News and discourage others from picking up its stories vividly reveals Obama’s failings—and why he will prove to be a one-term president.

Sean Hannity and Don Imus

This morning as I was driving to work I was listening to Imus in the morning and he said he was about to receive a call from Sean Hannity. I thought this might be interesting. Let me say I am no big fan of Imus and like to listen to his side kicks Bernard McGurk and Charles McCord and Warner Wolf much more, though I do admire the work he is doing with the ranch for terminally ill kids to enjoy themselves and learn about ranch work. Sean recently interviewed Imus and his wife at the ranch. Sean called in and they talked about Imus' wife who was on Sean's TV show recently on his Great American Panel. Imus refers to her as The Ayatollah and she was very aggressive and loud when I saw her. After a few light hearted banter, Imus asked Sean about the Obama administration attacking FOX News. Sean said it was Obama who started the war with them and not them. Sean also said he thought it was rediculous because there are much more important things going on in the world such as two wars, a sagging economy and unemployment at 10% that wasn't supposed to go higher than 8% once the stimulus package was passed. Sean also went on about the many controversial czars that Obama has too. Imus countered with "Why do you have to crticize him all the time. Can't you just play ball with him. Can't you see he's trying his best?" Sean replied, "That's what Journalism's for. To keep these people in check." I couldn't believe what Imus just said, though yes I could, because he plays both sides of the fence and his wife claimed she was a conservative on Sean's show. "Trying his best Don????? He's trying his best to destroy the country. He's trying his best to rewrite the constituition which he admits gets in the way of things. He's trying his best to make this a government controlled fascist/communist country with him in control. He already has taken many of our liberties away from us with government control of the banks, government control of the auto industry and if they get control of our healthcare it will be control of our lives. Cap and trade controls how much fuel you can use and where you can go. They even tried to have a travel tax where they would tax us by the mile in our cars thru GPS systems. That's the government controlling where you can go and keeping track of its' people. Like the saying goes "How's that hope and change working out for you?"..........

I love the little blurbs for talk radio they are running during commercial breaks now. Last week it was "balloon boy and exploding deficits.We need to talk." :D then it was "Rush vs. Al Sharpton,Iran nukes,We Need to talk" :D. This week it's "Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, pilots on the hot seat.We need to talk." :D In case you missed the story the pilots on the hot seat refers to the two jet pilots in a commercial airline who flew 150 miles past their destination. Some said they were drinking, some said they were arguing and missed. In any event an investigation is ongoing. The pilots deny both reasons.

Here's an interesting story that has been quit obvious for a while now. White House likes news reported its way A conservative media watchdog says it has become increasingly apparent that the only legitimate media coverage -- according to the Obama administration -- is news that praises the president.

Curtis Sliwa vs.The Muslims' Lawsuit. He won :D

While driving home from work the other night I was listening to talk show host Curtis Sliwa talk about the time muslims connected to the ones responsible for the first world trade center bombing sued him for five million dollars for blasting them on his radio show after the first World Trade Center bombing. His rant was so inspiring and fascinating that I wanted to share it here in my blog to show what you can do if you stand firm in your beliefs when all things turn against you. I'm including his website below so you can see him broadcast live from 10 pm to 1 am e.s.t. I've seen and heard him live at Sean Hannity's freedom concerts and even photographed him there broadcasting with Sean.

For those of you not familiar with Curtis, he is the head honcho of a crime fighting group in New York City called The Guardian Angels that he started some 30 odd years ago and has since expanded to major cities across the country and the world. They patrol the streets and arrest people and fight crime. No weapons except their exceptional karate skills. They wear red berets and red sateen jackets. Curtis has also been shot up by John Gotti Jrs. people and narrowly escaped death so he's had quite a life.

The other night he was talking how he was warning people that the terrorists of the first world trade center bombing who are now in jail such as Ramsi Yuseff and the blind sheik were all out of the same mosque and these mosques preach jihad in this country. Well this went on for several weeks. After 9/11 Curtis said a see I told you so and blamed the mosque and other mosques who preach hate. The day after the Iraq war he was hit with a five million dollar lawsuit by CAIR for slander and defamation of character. Needless to say he was scared out of his pants. He went to the "suits" his bosses at the Disney owned studio where his show originates from and they were enraged. Instead of sticking up for him they told him that he better not say anything else bad about muslims and they wouldn't back him. He said he had to listen to that constantly on a daily basis and be berated by them. He went to lawyer after lawyer and played them the tapes of his show and none would suppor thim. All they said was that he better offer some kind of payment as these people have a lot of money to spare and will tear you down even if it takes years, but undaunted he pursued on.

Curtis then decided to go to his old radio sidekick, liberal ACLU lawyer Ron Kuby. Even Ron said. "Curtis, you haven't a chance against these people. You better pay them some coin." Curtis was furious and worried. He could never make that much money in his lifetime he was saying so he decided to contact a lawyer who had done some work for his Guardian Angels. This lawyer said, "Curtis, these people are very patient and are willing to take years and wear you down emotionally and financially,but I'm interested and will take the case non grata because it's you and I know what you are up against."

Curtis described how this lawyer spent every waking hour and far into the night reading all about muslims and law strategy. More than any lawyer he's ever seen. Finally after six years of court hearings and postponements the big trial came. Curtis said the coutroom was typically symbolic of New York: a racially mixed jury consisting of black, white, hispanic men and women, a jewish judge, a protestant lawyer, a catholic defendant ,(him) and a muslim prosecution. To hear him describe this scenario was quite amusing. He was literally sweating bullets. The cross examinations were tough and fair he said. The muslims were also asking for $280,000 in compensasory damages. Curtis went on to say how his lawyer was very relaxed, calm and sharp during the proceedings and excelllent in his cross examination of the muslims. Finally the jury was dismissed to render a verdict. Curtis said he could hear his heart beating. His lawyer showed him the sheet of questions the jury would have to consider to render a verdict. About ten minutes later the jury came back and rendered their verdict of "not guilty." Curtis was so relieved and thanked everyone for their support after six long years.

We lived in California during the winters of 2007 and 2008. We became addicted to Fox News and watched O’Reilly and Hannity and Colmes every night. When we got back home, we upgraded our cable to get Fox. I watched the Presidential campaign very closely. Initially because I thought the Democrats would nominate Hillary Clinton and then in astonishment when they chose an even more hard-left candidate. All of last year I told everyone I could that Obama was not a Democrat, he was a Marxist. He is far to the left of any European leader and even our far left party, the NDP. I read Saul Alinsky when I was in University. I studied him and his writing carefully. When Bill Ayers and his idiot wife were bombing and killing people at random in the Weather Underground. Weather Underground and the Black Panthers were closely allied. I read David Horowitz’s account of changing from a Marxist to a conservative after seeing that the government was afraid to prosecute members of the Panthers for murdering his personal assistant. He suddenly understood the evil that Marxism really was. After the student radicals failed in creating a Marxist revolution in the United States by violent means, they embraced Alinsky. You would be wise to read “Rules for Radicals” because it outlines how Hillary and Obama planned to get into power, and what they intended to do when they got it. Socialism is not the correct descriptor for what Obama and the Democrats are doing. They are going to be much more far reaching than anything Sweden has ever been able to do. Obama is following Alinsky’s plans, those set out in “Rules for Radicals” and his other writing. The Democrats are attempting to create one party rule in the U.S. And in achieving that, will create crisis after crisis by their own actions and use those crisis to nationalize the means of production in the U.S. You are in the middle of a communist revolution and few in the U.S. Can actually see it for what it truly is. The U.S. . Is now on the path of financial destruction. The Constitution has been shredded and individual human rights are being trampled. In less than 8 months. Obama has used a recession to take over the two largest industries in the U.S. He will debase the Dollar and is on the road to creating an incredible energy shortage that will allow him and Congress to take over the energy industry. But by and large I think that by the 2010 elections, the Democrats will have gerrymandered electoral districts to the point that it will be impossible for them to lose control of both houses of Congress. The incredible increase in the money supply is going to create Zi mbabwe and Venezuela style inflation, and with it, controls on the currency and the amount of money that can be taken out of the country. I love America , I cannot believe how the ignorance of the American public has created a situation whereby they are going to lose their Republic and slip into an age of repression and tyranny. I may be nuts, but so far I have been 100% in my predictions of what Obama was going to do, because I merely had to look at “Rules for Radicals” to see what was coming next. I read Glenn Beck’s book, “Common Sense” and in it re-read Thomas Paines pamphlet with the same name. I recommend the book. When the storm finally hits (and it will), those of you who supported the Obama administration will be affected as well. It won’t just be us gun owners or Flat-Taxers, or Pro-Lifers that get hit. You’ll be right there next to us. You all thought the Conservatives were nut cases. You know, all of us who believe in God, small government, the Second Amendment, etc. You thought you could just go back to sle ep after the election was over. In your world, America will continue as before. You’ll still have the same rights, the same nice house, the same big screen television. After all, your high school football team won and the other team lost – go team! Even if you have bothered to look up from the daily grind since Nov 4th, you dismissed everything that has occurred as “politics as usual–the same old stuff”. In the end, it’ll all be OK won’t it? Not this time. There are a growing number of citizens in the US that are ready to fight to shut down the government’s grab of personal freedom, it’s blatant abuse of the constitution, and it’s attempt to replace the American way of life with socialism. You have to listen carefully to hear them, but they are there. I won’t start that fig ht, but when it goes down I will join it. As for you, why, you’ll be shocked because you didn’t see it coming. And eventually you’ll be saddened when you see that we have truly lost the way of life with which you grew up. You’ll be saddened that your children and grandchildre n live in a socialist, government-controlled gulag where their every movement from cradle to grave is tracked by the government. But most of all, you’ll be saddened by the death of friends and relatives who are brave enough to fight and die for something they believe in. You know, McCain wasn’t much of a candidate. I’ll give you that. He was the lesser of two evils for most of us. I don’t blame you for not voting for him since, at the time, you didn’t know what we all know now. But at least John McCain was an American. He was a supporter of the American way o f life and he understood that you can’t negotiate with terrorists. He understood and appreciated the sacrifice made by my father and other members of the Greatest Generation. Mark my words friends. All across America groups are forming. They are forming out of anger and out of desperation at the thought of losing America . They’re not militia groups, te rrorists as the Department of Homeland security would have you believe; they are Americans, loyal to the constitution. They are mothers and fathers and grandparents. They belong to groups like the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, the Peaceful Resistance, the Constitution Party, the Young Conservatives, the 9/12 Project, and Grassfire. Right now they are fragmented, each focused on their own cause. But sometime in the next two years, our government is going to do something really stupid and these groups will come together. Watch for it, wait for it–get ready. It will happen. &nb sp; When that event happens, whatever “it” is, our great country is going to plunge into chaos for a while. I pray to God that we make it through that time and emerge a stronger, smarter country. Michael Moore vs.Sean Hannity and other Random thoughts

Earlier this week on Sean Hannity's night time TV show he had a one on one interview with film maker Michael Moore. Sean said on his radio show that the interview was supposed to be a fifteen minute interview and went on for forty five minutes so he showed it on two consecutive nights and I must say it was an interesting segment.

At the beginning of the interview Sean told about the bet he had with Michael. If Bush was impeached or resigned from office he would have to wear a "I love Hillary " button on his show for a week and if not then Michael would have to stand in front of the whitehouse with a sign that said "Sean Hannity was right." Sean then showed a picture of Michael standing in front of the whitehouse with the sign, but said that it was a mock up and the pic was taken in their studio. Michael said you should have seen the looks and heard the comments he got walking the streets of New York with the sign. :D

After the introduction they got down to business. Sean asked Michael about his latest movie "Capitalism; A love Story." Michael asked Sean if he saw it and Sean said he had and he had to go in with dark glasses and a hat at a later showing so noone would recognize him as it was probably all of Moore's followers. Sean then proceeded to tell Michael that if it weren't for capitalism he would not be where he was today. Sean proceeded to ask Michael how much he's worth and Moore responded by saying "Let's just say I'm doing pretty good." Sean responded with"But Michael you're a multi millionaire" Moore admitted he had a house in Michigan and an apartment in New York but refused to divulge what he made. When Sean listed all the amounts each of Moore's films made Michael responded that the studios get a lot of that and he doesn't get it all.

I consider myself very astute when it comes to viewing people and able to pick up on them by their body languiage and facial expressions. I noticed Moore seemed to feel out of his element being in the FOX News studio and looked down a lot instead of directly at Sean. This to me shows insecurity. When Sean came at him with his rat-a-tat rapid fire that he's good at I noticed Michael looked like a little kid who's father is scolding him and he knows he's right. Sean's had other liberals on his show who were more straight forward and sure of themselves which made for a good debate. but this showed me Moore can dish it out but can't take it.

They went on with the debate with Sean asking Michael about his last film showing Cuban healthcare was better than here. Sean asked Michael if he would go to a Cuban Hospital and Moore said the ones they filmed were all very good. Sean then showed a piece of film his crew did that purported to show a Cuban hospital in utter filth. It looked like an abandoned hospital to me as there were no people around. Michale laughed and said "Where are the patients Sean? Where are the doctors and nurses. ?" Suddenly a little blurb showed some patients in poor beds and Sean said "See. There they are." Michael still laughed and said where are all the doctors and nurses again Sean?'"I noticed that too and thought Sean was pulling a fast one,though I have seen pics of very poor Cuban hospitals that are filthy.

At the end of the interview Sean thanked Michael and shook his hand and again I noticed Michael seemd a little surprised and was half shaking Sean's hand. I think Michael Moore is a very insecure person and a true muckraker...............So Obama,the man who was going to unite the country is still dividing it further and further. I for one am enjoying this. It 's like a good old fashioned wrestling match. Bob Eberle of The Loft site had this to say about Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize: Are you kidding me? Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize? Bobby Eberle, The Loft This article shows just how insane and politically oriented toward global socialism the Nobel Committee has become. Read the citation carefully. What does it tell you? It tells me that the Nobel Committee and the UN stand for everything that is in direct opposition to American values. This "award" is was not given for any accomplishments of the community organizer in chief (there haven't been any), but rather was given to encourage that mutt in the White House to continue with his global socialism policies at the cost of stripping America of her world status and independence. The Nobel Committee has outdone itself now after previously awarding Al Gore for narrating his global warming movie promoting the biggest hoax the world has ever seen. The Nobel Prize is now a confirmed insult to any patriotic American. ..............This morning I heard liberal columnist Jeff Greenfeld talking to Don Imus and Greenfeld said awarding the prize to Obama was the European nations thanking us for not electing another George Bush. Yeah Jeff, Bush only liberated 50 million people in Iraq and Afghanistan that's all. Greenfeld also asked Imus how he likes working at FOX News and had some nasty comments about FOX as being biased and partial saying their slogan should be Deride and Divide. Yeah Jeff, like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS are all objective?????
