Random Thoughts

A commercial company supporting farmers in Australia is advocating killing feral camels in an effort to stop pollution there. They claim one camel produces one ton of metahane into the atomosphere a year there and are willing to give carbon credits to people who kill them. I find this harsh and cruel. Where are the animal rights people on this??
Adelaide-based Northwest Carbon, a commercial company, proposed culling some 1.2 million wild camels that roam the Outback, the legacy of herds introduced to help early settlers in the 19th century.
Considered a pest due to the damage they do to vegetation, a camel produces, on average, a methane equivalent to one tonne of
carbon dioxide a year, making them collectively one of Australia's major emitters of greenhouse gases.
In its plan,
Northwest said it would shoot them from helicopters or muster them and send them to an abattoir for either human or pet consumption. .....So the Weiner(as in Anthony) got roasted sort of speak. Andrew Breitbart, who started this whole thing and who I admire claimed he had the x-rated pic of Weiner's weiner and said he wouldn't release it unless Weiner brought charges against him. Breitbart went on radio's Anthony and Opie show and when they asked to see the pic he showed them on his phone not realizing that their show was broadcast via video on the net. Anthony then took the photo from their camera and released it on the net on Gawker.com. Breitbart immediately said it was a violation of trust which it was. I checked out the pic and as Breitbart said to Sean Hannity in describing it, "Let's just say he was excited about life." :D To see the photo click here then click where it has gawker.com highlited 1 New X-rated Weiner photo hits web... ......When Obama campaigned for pres., he promised to get us out of Iraq and end the war in Afghanistan. Not only are we still there but he now has us in two more wars;Libya and Yemen now with drones and it is costing us more than just Iraq and Afghanistan.Where are the war protestors now saying these wars are costing us too much and protesting the loss of lives like under Bush?......When Bush was president and got us involved in Iraq everyone who was liberal and democrat protested, but he was truly a visionary saying, "Once Iraq is free other countries in the middle east will follow." He was right as that is just what we are seeing now with all these other countries revolting against their repressive governments; Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Libya. Freedom is truly contagious.....
