Can You Imagine?

Tonite while coming home from work, I heard a news report that said Obama says his plan is not a government run plan, there are no cuts in medicare and there is no euthanasia involved. OHH Nooo? If it's not government run then why is he and congress so concerned and in a hurry to get it shoved down our throats. If it's not government run then why all the references to answering to the government in it? If there are no cuts in medicare then why did he say he would cut millions from medicare to finance this plan. If there is no euthanasia, then why all the references to end of life care and counseling for seniors and references to not permitting them their medications and any surgeries because of their age. Hey Barack baby, as my late, great father use to say,"Tell your story walking." I have a better idea, just forget the whole thing and leave our healthcare alone. We don't need you or your repressive government Chicago thuggery ways meddling in our healthcare and lives.

Now on to the main thought of this blog:

Can you imagine how the left wing media would have reacted if George Bush sat in a church for twenty years where the minister said things like "Not God bless America, God DAMN America," and "America's chickens have come home to roost" in reference to 9/11. The media would have excoriated him.

Can you imagine how the state run media would have reacted if George Bush told his henchmen to hit back twice as hard at the Iraq War protestors and said "if they bring a knife,you bring a gun?" (Incidentally a little aside here. That quote Obama said originally is from the movie The Untouchables with Sean Connery saying that to Kevin Costner portraying Elliot Ness. Just thought you'd like to know). :)

Can you imagine how the state run media would have reacted if Bush sent union thugs to bash peaceful demonstrators?

Can you imagine how the leftist media would have reacted if Bush's secret service men drove thru a crowd of protestors with guns raised out the windows?

Can you imagine how the state run left wing media would have reacted if George Bush had a healthcare plan that was all inclusive and controlled your every aspect of your life like something out of George Orwell's "1984" or Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World"?

Can you imagine how the left would have reacted if Bush told them to step aside and get out of the way while he cleans up their mess?

Can you imagine the left's reaction if Bush told them to turn in their neighbors if they disagreed with his plan?

Yes can you just imagine? Can you imagine? After all these are people who made movies about his assasination.
