And the Beat Goes On in the Quran Burning Issue

The saga continues in the Quran burning issue. On Thursday PastorTerry Jones said he wouldn't burn the Quran because the Imam of the proposed NYC ground zero mosque agreed to move the mosque to a different location and he would meet with him on Saturday. The Imam stated that no agreement was made and he would still have the mosque at that sight. Meanwhile a third Imam in Fla.said he spoke with Pastor Jones and arranged for the two men to meet on Sat on the anniversary of Sept.11th.. Donald Trump has even entered into the fray saying he would buy up a quarter of the property from the current owners.

Now another member of Pastor Jones' church said if Pastor Jones won't burn the Quran he would. Another minister in Tennesee is now joining in and saying he would burn a Quran on Sat. too. Meanwhile angry Islamists in Indonesia and Pakistan are burning American flags and shouting Death to the United States.
The Imama in charge of the mosque went on Larry King's show and stated if he moved the mosque the radicals would become so angry they would harm our troops and harm us ina worse way than 9/11. Is he sending talking points to other muslims? I never did trust this guy.

Meanwhile Janet Napolitano issued this following statement saying we can't be sure we won't be attacked again soon saying, “As I’ve said before, we can’t guarantee there won’t be another successful terrorist attack. The threats we face are evolving, and enemies like Al Qaeda and its affiliates are determined. We can’t seal our country under a glass dome. But if that attack comes, our enemies will still not have succeeded, because our nation is too strong, and too resilient, to ever cower before a small group of violent extremists. We have always rebounded from hardships and challenges — and come together as a people to overcome disasters, attacks and war. And we will do so again."

All this because a teeny tiny man with a teeny tiny congregation of 50 people in Florida made a statement about burning a Quran. Now the whole world is in an uproar.

Oh How I miss George Bush. At least he kept us safe. I fear much for our country with this bunch in charge .
